    The collection presents the papers of the conference organised on the basis of the research platforms of Chechen State Pedagogical University, Research and Education Centre under Faculty of Life Safety at Moscow Region State University and STATUS Research and Publishing Centre. The conference brought together the experts, scientists, researchers, university teachers and associates of research institutes (centres) from the Russian Federation and over 15 foreign countries – those having significant research results in the area of counteracting the present-day terrorist activity, sociology, politics and other sciences.

    Within the framework of the plenary session and the conference sections discourse, the following key problems of the 21st century were addressed by more than 70 participants: theoretical and methodological problems of anti-terrorist activity; legal mechanisms of counteracting terrorism and violent extremism; psychological and pedagogical aspects of forming anti-terrorist consciousness in young people; terrorism counteraction technologies at educational institutions; Middle East and Central Asian regions in the international system of countering terrorism and preventing violent extremism.

    The global attention to the conference was conditioned by the importance of the discussed problems, retrospective look into the past, search for new solutions adequate to the modern conditions and the ways to counteract contemporary terrorism and extremism in the third decade of the 21st century, both in the Russian Federation and in the global space.

  • Education in the Age of Digital Transformation: Innovative Pedagogical Approaches and the Development of Human Capital

    The editorial board invites scholars, educators, and experts to contribute research examining how digital technologies reshape contemporary education systems. As digitalization accelerates, it influences every dimension of learning — from teaching methodologies and institutional management to professional training and intercultural communication. This issue aims to explore how educational innovation can strengthen human capital while responding to the challenges of a rapidly evolving technological environment.

    We particularly welcome interdisciplinary contributions that bridge pedagogy, psychology, management, information technology, linguistics, and social sciences.

    Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

    • digital technologies and ICT as drivers of educational modernization

    • innovative pedagogical models and methodological foundations of teaching

    • development of human capital and professional competencies in education

    • online learning, digital course design, and distance education formats

    • governance and strategic management of educational institutions and systems

    • global transformations and intercultural dimensions of education

    • contemporary approaches to assessment, monitoring, and quality assurance

    • psychological and pedagogical support for learners in digital environments

    • digital literacy, information culture, and responsible use of online resources

    • linguistics, language education, and emerging language technologies

    Types of submissions invited:

    • original research (quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods)

    • analytical and comparative studies on educational policy and institutional strategies

    • thematic and applied case studies

    • systematic and critical literature reviews

    The editorial team seeks contributions offering new perspectives, empirical evidence, and practical solutions that support resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking educational systems.

    Articles will be published on a rolling basis following successful peer review.

    An article processing fee of 50 euros applies. The invoice will be issued after the manuscript passes peer review.
