Thematic Issues and Publication Format
The series publishes special thematic issues dedicated to contemporary topics in the humanities and social sciences. Publication follows a continuous publication model, where each article appears online immediately after peer review and acceptance, ensuring timely dissemination of research without waiting for the completion of the entire issue.
Academic Standards and Research Integrity
The series upholds internationally recognized standards of academic publishing and research ethics. Submissions must demonstrate originality, methodological soundness, and intellectual rigor, along with transparent documentation of data, sources, and references. Each manuscript undergoes an originality check using professional plagiarism-detection software. Authors are required to declare the absence of research misconduct, disclose potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, author contributions, and data accessibility statements.
Editorial Structure of Thematic Issues
Each thematic issue is managed by an appointed Guest Editor, who defines the academic focus of the issue, oversees the peer review process, and provides recommendations on the acceptance of papers. Guest Editors work in accordance with the editorial policy of the series and in close cooperation with the permanent Editorial Board.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review, ensuring that neither authors nor reviewers are aware of each other’s identities. Possible editorial outcomes include: accept, accept with minor revisions, revise and resubmit, or reject. Final publication decisions are based on reviewers’ reports and the Guest Editor’s recommendations, followed by editorial compliance checks performed by the series office.
Open Access Policy
All works are published under an open access model, making the full text of each article freely accessible to readers worldwide. Articles may be read, downloaded, and distributed without restrictions. Copyright and reuse conditions are governed by a Creative Commons license, with the specific license type indicated on each article’s page.
Identifiers, Metadata, and Long-Term Availability
Every published article receives complete bibliographic metadata and a persistent identifier. All publications are structured with machine-readable markup to support indexing, long-term archiving, and integration into major international databases and repositories.
Call for Contributions and Guest Editors
The series welcomes scholars and researchers to contribute to forthcoming thematic issues and to propose new topics within the broad domains of the humanities and social sciences. Cross-disciplinary, comparative, and regional studies are particularly encouraged.
We also invite qualified academics to join as Guest Editors, responsible for defining the scope of a thematic issue, coordinating the review process, and ensuring compliance with the series’ editorial and ethical principles.
Proposals for thematic issues or editorial cooperation can be submitted to the Editorial Office at any time. Each proposal is evaluated for its scholarly significance, originality, and contribution to the advancement of research in the humanities and social sciences.
